Creative Workshops
Do you have a bunch of drums that you don't know how to play? Are you interested in learning how to lead a sing song? Do you want to make musical instruments with kids and learn how to jam? Want to paint, draw, explore other cultures?
Sonya has over 25 years experience working with children and over 10 years teaching Creative workshops. Sonya's workshops include games, songs, and activities which encourage our creative, artistic side while exploring very real issues our youth of today face. Workshops include opportunities for caregivers, teachers and other adults to come and enjoy being creative with their kids.
These workshops also include a way to learn how to integrate creativity into your program as a teacher or caregiver looking for something a little different to enhance your program. You don't have to be a professional musician to have fun with instruments and music and it's this premise that allows Sonya to show you ways in which you can encourage your group to explore creativity in a safe non-judgmental environment and enjoy watching people completely express themselves.
Workshops are typically for 7-12 years old, however, we can provide services for specific age groups outside of this age range.
